  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

250-500cc Will a WR 360 engine fit in a current WR 250/300 frame?

I reckon he was shocked by the weight difference. Changed the whole characteristics of the bike and made it hard to ride...

Any idea whether a 2t conversion will work in a TE/TXC frame??????? of a frame for a 2008 or a 2013, I have both year frames 4t with dead engines...

It's fits directly in the txc tc 250 xlite frame
Only make extra mounts between the axle it fits perfectly and turn the wheel than everything fits with the chain etc.
Also you need two stroke 125 rear shock and radiators

I need to make one of these for an ice racer! I have a tc frame and everything in the basement...... anyone have a 360 motor?

Wouldn't you also need a 300 swingarm since the chain is on the other side? Also what are these spacers you are talking about?

That ain't no 2t swing arm! If the average rider(you know what I mean Quattro) could do It how hard would it have been for factory to do it?! Shaking my head...

That swingarm has to be from a 300 or a 250 but other than that I assume it would bolt straight up. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the linkage between a 250/300 is the same as the 125cr/wr and 250tc/txc from what I've seen on the bikes that we have.

I have a 1992 WR360 that I'm thinking of parting out, if anyone is interested in the motor. It does run but has been sitting a long time and would need to be rebuilt.

I am in Ocala, Florida. I would like to get $300 for it plus shipping. Have not had it apart but assume it will need a total rebuild.
