    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

FE/FC Will 2016 plastics fit 2014 FE350

Hi all,

I have a 2014 FE 350 and I am really not a fan the front head light mask and front guard and I also like the blue shrouds on the 2016 models.

Can I just purchase a set of 2016 full plastics and install them and will they fit? I have seen mentioned else where that may need a kit for the updated front fender??
 
Dudes I forget which kit I got... there should be a thread here somewhere. I got the Kit from Jeff Slavens, they knew which one would work with the Billet triples on the 2014 to adapt the newer model 15-16 TE and TC fender and number plate/ or headlight assembly.
It was for sure a Flatland racing kit, because I tried a Nihilo concepts on that did not work. I would say call Slavens and ask them for which one to order and get it from Slavens, they were savvy.
All the other plastics are the same Husaberg/Husky stuff until the 16 FC type change and now all the new 17 models plastic came out.

One other question, every site I check out for an updated or 2015/2016 plastics kit never seem to have a headlight mask/front plate listed it just shows a normal motocross style plate, I've checked out Acerbis and Racetech, any recommendations where to purchase a 2016 plastics kit including front headlight mask/plate assembly??
