    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Which Motoz tires and what size?

I think I need a set of Motoz tires to replace the Karoo's on my 2012 TE310. I have no plans of riding this bike on the road, and I have done the power-up and swapped out the TE ECU and injector for the TXC ECU and 12-hole injector. I am in South-Central Alaska. Terrain varies from silty sand to rocks and roots, muddy, rocks, roots, hardback, and loose and dusty. Pretty much everything. Any recommendations on which Motoz tire to go with, and what size would be best for the rear would be appreciated. The 140 Karoo is way too big, but I don't know if I need a 120 or a 110 for the new Motoz tires I want. Thanks in advance for your help.
 
I used 110 size for both my 250 and 310. I have used the X-circuit and IT in rocky, rooty, wet, dry and DS riding. I perfer the X-circuit because they seem to bounce less, and better overall consistant traction. I also feel the X-circuits have stiffer sidewalls which comes in handy with low air pressure. With the IT's there was a range of PSI needed to keep the front tire in traction while becoming too aggressive and keeping the front stable. The range was 10-12 PSI which resulted in several pinch flats. I ran 13-14 PSI with X-circuit and had no flats or bounce. Now I run TuBliss and keep the IT's at 12 otherwise they grip too much in ruts and wanting to climb out. I have a set of IT's in my garage and when there gone I will be back on the X-circuit again.
 
Have not had much luck finding Motoz tires in the right size. All I see is 100 and 130. Guess I will go with Maxxis SI's.
