  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Where to find a clutch? '10 te310

Sceep

Husqvarna
AA Class
Have one on backorder from Halls for over a Month now. Local dealer says backorder as well.

Prime riding season right now and I'm tired of borrowing my dad's WR. (actually I'd love to trade him permanently)

Anyone know where I can find a clutch? Would really like to get out on my own bike without having to worry about breaking a loaner.

Maybe try Rekluse, they sell regular clutch parts as well as auto clutch's. Just some out of the box suggestion. Good luck.

What parts do you need for the clutch?

Hmm.. i wonder how i can figure out if they will work in mine or not? Talked to Halls friday. Backorder is not supposed to be filled until APRIL! Unacceptable. i cant be off my bike for 6 months of good riding weather. :(

you are THE MAN!

what kind of beer you like? I'll send you a 6-pack.

Ordered it in. It does not fit.
:(

the hinson page also shows no clutch available for the '09/'10 te310.

:(

still looking.

If I had to wait for a part like you have, I would have quit a long time ago. But I'm a full time amateur dirt bike rider, not just an owner. So riding is my life. In your case, selling is best also.

The bad part on selling is that you can't sell it for much. Just reading a few threads here and it is obvious the Husky bikes are not too good and of course, no parts for so so many. SP is not liked or trusted here also. You just purchased the wrong bike. Just another lifes' mistakes to chalk up. Ktm and Husky are the same really so don't let the former bike be another life mistake. But if you did get the former bike, they have their own web site for you to utilize ktmtalk or something ... They might can help you now if you ask.

In an effort to learn some thing here, .. something that is new and useful... How did ruin a clutch on your bike? I just don't know how to do that and want to make sure I can avoid it in the future.

:( i can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not?

What/who is SP?

I love the Husky. we have 6 of them in our group. I dont want a different bike at all but 6 months to wait for a clutch is just not acceptable. :(

Clutch has a hard 3000 miles on it. The last few hundred with an EFM auto. Its just worn out and slipping non-stop.

Just forget all that other jargon ...

You worn that clutch in 3000 miles? I'm a puusy rider for sure then ... But I've also got a refluse on a bike ... I'm not so sure that device is holding firming in some gnarly uphills, so if it goes before any of the other 3 bikes clutches, I'll think it is the device ... I've just had almost zero clutch issues on any of these 250cc bikes ...

Too bad on the parts ... Are the plates really bad? Maybe you can reuse them in the short term. I have spare parts but no clutches ... Maybe I should buy a set also. I really try to take care of my bikes now when riding, like picking good lines, no fall overs ... I'm mentioned this to a couple any guys here ... But you might wanna check your riding style and maybe get some higher mileage out of your bike before something goes away ...

SP is the KTM head huncho ... .. CEO ... All around MR. Racer Guy...

try sales@motozportshusvarna.com and ask them about it.. also take a look at this posting http://www.ebay.com/itm/Husqvarna-T...Parts_Accessories&hash=item51c57a2845&vxp=mtr

Another option is to fill the OEM parts request form in this site: http://www.husqvarnaoutlet.com/oem_parts and tell them Halls is backordered for 6 months.

2013 clutch wont fit,

will email motozport.

filled out the OEM request this morning!

thanks! I HAVE to find one or this thing is getting sold. :(

Sorry about that bud, they had better return for you then, and take down there compatibility chart. Strange they would list it like that.
