    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

WHERE TO BUY- TWIN ARROW MUFFLERS w/CPU from Special Parts Catalog

I cannot for the life of me find the correct Twin Arrow mufflers w/ CPU from the Husqvarna Special Parts Catalog... I thought I ordered the right ones but when they arrived, they were NOT STAMPED HUSQVARNA NOR WAS THE CPU INCLUDED... Instead I got some Arrow Thunders or some crap..... PLEASE HELP ME AS I REALLY WANT THIS PARTICULAR EXHAUST SET UP!!!
 
I got mine ok from the local Husky dealers. But that was some time previous to the Austrian take-over. Best send the whole box of tricks back and order anew straight from Arrow. Think it´s on their web site.

Did the Twin Arrows Kit on SMS630 first and was so impressed with the results that I went ahead and did same on the TE630.
On both bikes, Iridium spark plugs added a noticeable benefit over and above the Twin Arrows Kit.

Well HuskyBrotha, I would REALL REALLY appreciate any info as to how I can get those mufflers, as I am apparently in a country that doesn't like doing business with BMW I guess.... THE USA.... G that's rather odd... FML I hate my local dealer!!!

The ecu from the Twin Arrows Kit (TAK) is not the same as the stock TE ecu, nor is it the same as the stock SMS ecu for that matter.

The TAK ecu is waaaay better than any of the 630 ecus.
I would say that 75% of the benefits of the TAK comes from the new ecu alone and the remaining 25% from the cans.
I can say this because I rode the bikes with the new ecu but with the stock cans.

After the TAK and even more so after adding Iridium plugs, I was able to do more with the JD Tuner.

These guys are long time Husky dealers and are very knowledgeable on the bikes
Speak to Max or Robbie in the parts section.

Whatever I ask them to get in for me that they do not carry in stock, eg the Twin Arrows Kit, I have to pay them up front before they will order for me. but after that they keep their part of the deal.
So tell them what you want, they will then quote you and then they will want you to pay for the items upfront just as I had to do.

you must be going to simivalley powersports??? I got the last sms630 from them and they would not sell me a pipe or jd tuner even though they had it right in front of me.. something about a new CA law that wont allow shops to sell aftermarket parts that adjust emission stuff.... EVENNNNNNN though we dont have emission's requirements on bike YETTTTT in CA... anyhow.
Im interested and have posted in on other threads where to find arrow ecu at? if I have to buy kit find or i maybe fine just buying TE630 ecu so if anyone has a TE ECU for sale please help me.

thanks my friend. appreciate the help.. how much of a difference is the ecu from sms to te ecu then from te to TAK ecu? in comparison. seat of the pants review is fine.
While in stock form and later on after some mods, I did swap ECU's and do back to back rides.
The differences on both bikes was acemdemic, a little bit different here, a little bit different there but nothing significant on the whole.

On both bikes the TAK ECU was waaay better even with stock pipes.

I bought a box of 4 Iridiums, noticed the gap on all was a bit below the spec in the owners manual, but shoved them into the 630's none the less with great results.
Only on the 510 did I make some effort to haul the feelers out to gap the plug correctly.
The 510 loved the Iridium but not as much as the 630's - could it be the stock (smaller) gap is the way to go ?
 
for the life of me i cant find the arrow kit n ecu... called around but i guess since KTM take over they cleaned house and are starting over.. so if anyone wants to sell their ecu or knows of a person willing.. please pm me thanks

Well GroffRacing, yes i was going to Simi Powerspoprts and was having same issue, but i finally found a slightly used set of twin arrows(500-600miles) from Motoxotica. I ABSOLUTELY EFFIN LOVE THESE mufflers w/ECU upgrade it came with, it really makes the bike ride and sound like my CRF450!!

ALSO Groff, The Twin Titanium Arrows are just "STAMPED" period... there's no specific markings on them identifying them as "TE630" or "SM630"..... BTW i dont know how any other exhausts measure up, but these things REALLY OPENED up my 630 and made it feel more like what i was expecting it to from the start****************************************!!
 
I dig it... i tore off my stock system shortly after I bought it and gutted it and welded it into a 2 in 1 system.. sounds great rides ok.. needed fuel adjustment and i just got the BAZZAZ system with auto mapping set to 13 or 13.5 AFR...
I really want a ecu or need to find out how to reprogram the stocky...
I just changed my stock radiator's out to the 250's wider and thicker great mod if you have rad issues.. just a little mod to make thing fit.. over all great..
