• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

where to buy red/white riding gear

Husqvarna
B Class
I just got a new (to me) Husky and am looking for the Husqvarna red and white riding gear. I found some boots but am still looking for the pants, jersey, gloves, and goggles. I know these colors are being discontinued so they are running out. Does anyone know of any shops that still have this stuff in stock?

Does it have to be Husqvarna gear? I picked up some nice Fly gear that is red, black and white.

Doesn't have to be but i really like the factory look. I like the pro grip and Husky stuff. I already found the boots so it would be nice to get the whole set.

I did get the Husky gloves. Very nice feel IMO. I picked up the Progrip goggles with the light sensitive lense and they work nice too.

Not sure where but do make sure of the sizing before you buy. Last year my honey was gonna get me a jersey, but they apparently were a boys XL, because it was just tiny. My Fox stuff looks fine to me, but then again I'm not picky. I still ride with my Fox CompII Rick Johnson signature boots from the late 80's.

Thanks for the help guys. I've tracked down just about everything. Husky boots and pants from ebay. Husky jersey from halls and cemoto jersey and husky gloves from bills. I tried on the jersey at halls and was shocked that I needed a XXXL! I heard they run small but that's crazy!

I'd still like a husky helmet and goggles. If anyone knows wherei can pick those up that would be great but there are plenty of red and white options that aren't husky so no big deal if I can't find them. Thanks again for the help. Now to get the bike dialed in.
