• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Where do you order Husky parts on-line?

I tried Halls, but all the part numbers either did not come up or came up with completely different descriptions.

I ordered through ktm-parts.com.
All the part numbers and descriptions matched, but its been over a week and they still have not shipped anything.
Customer service has been telling me it will ship tomorrow since Monday.

On Hall's, if you're searching by part number, be sure to remove the space that is in the parts diagrams.

If something is back ordered, I found you might not get a heads up from Hall's if you order it online...and nothing will ship until it's all there.

I've had a couple of orders through ktm-parts.com I think they ship on the back of a disabled turtle. to be fair, my orders were small - both for different fasteners and I chose the free shipping option but they still took 2 to 3 weeks from the time i clicked to the time i got the stuff.

They do ship via the US postal service.

My issue is 1 week and it still has not even been given to the turtle yet.
I have never waited more than a day or 2 before the turtle leaves.

In italia : chracing.it non so se spedisce anche all'estero provate a chiedere via email e consultate il loro sito c'è il listino prezzi completo ;)

In Italy: chracing.it do not know if sent abroad try asking via email and consult their website is the full price list ;)

There is also the issue now with everything being transferred to KTM warehouses causing some delay no matter who you order through......
BMW was pretty much automatic overnight to dealers, but KTM is a bit less generous.....
I know that online ordering is nice, but it does seem that a phone call to Halls or Bills actually gets the quickest results as they both stock a fair amount of stuff and are knowledgable.

I ordered a set of fork guards on July 3rd, and they showed up July 23rd. That's not too bad considering the chaos going on out there.
