  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Bryon at Bill's, 100%, over $500 in mail order parts for me so far (2.5 years), whatever brand Bryon recs, that's what I get: Moose bearings, EBC brake pads, Driven shifter, etc

I have nothing but good things to say about Halls and Motosportz after multiple transactions with both.

I have 2 huskys, and Hall's has been great. Knowledgeable, fast delivery, and seem to have most everything in stock.
Excellent advice from their service department also...

Thanks for your help.
I don't see a classifieds section anywhere on this site does anyone know of a site with a Husky classified section?

I buy everything I can (which has so far been a solid 95% of everything I buy), for all of my bikes, from Bill's.

Becareful with Moose bearings and fork seals. ( i'm just saying )

What JonXX is saying ....is that even if a part turns out to be faulty, Bryon will own his recommendations and make it right. Its hard to go wrong with that kind of integrity. Through years of experience he has built up his own mental database of good and bad vendors and parts...he will sell you what you want, but he will let you know whether or not he has had good experience with it.
Because he has been at if for years he see a lot more 'samples' than most of us. This is system that biases towards legacy products and not the latest and 'greatest'....but he will let you experiment and provide your input :-)

I cant get my doctor to take responsibility for half his recommendations.
