• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

What's on your list to Santa?

Wetdog

Husqvarna
AA Class
Seeing it's a bike forum lets keep your wishes in the MX category. No need to tell us about your dreams of sexy lingerie, new socks and underwear, a hot air popcorn maker or a blue-ray player.

My list is more my own wish list because Santa doesn't really bring dirtbike paraphernalia down the chimney but I'll share it with you anyways,

1) Reckluse clutch

2) Motosportz sidestand for the TXC

3) Gear, (gloves, goggles, some new pants, knee gaurds)

4) a new ride for Jr.

5) For Kelly to take that rim tape off his TXC. He post's so many pictures of his bike and I tired of looking at that gay tape. ;)

What say you?

Baby steps, I replaced the white skid plate you loved so much just because it offended you. :D

Pivot Pegz for the 610

Pipe for the 610

Brighter taillight for the 610

My passport so I can go to Baja with the 610

More time to ride the 610

I want to be taller (definitely moto-related!)

Thanks for asking, Wetdog. Want my address so you know where to send all this stuff?

I think my list will just stay open thru next year…
  • Winter riding gear

  • Axel sliders

And the big ticket item…

Oh, and I would like some of that red reflective rim tape…(sorry Wetdog:D)

Pivot Pegz and Motosportz tail rack for my 610.

I want a Renazco seat too, but will have to wait until March for it.

1) I would like a SM610. But the wife said I already have two many bikes. Geez, I never complain about how many knitting needles she has. Like three bikes :busted: verses twenty different sized needles is even a comparison. :excuseme:

2) New riding gear (always a plus)

3) Not moto related, but, to understand women! Has nothing to do with #1 /\ /\ /\:D

Mine is:

- the Motosportz kickstand. Especially since I pestered the poor guy for the last year about one...

- for Rekluse to make a Pro for my 250.....:censored:

- 2nd set of wheels for the ice tires (winter) and trials tires (summer)

- OFG radiator braces, powdercoated red.

- Tugger straps, for....well, you know.

- And I'd like my 510 back. That thing in SM trim on the street was waaaaay addictive. Still in withdrawal.

Those are great! Did you talk to him to see if he makes them for Husky?

Leatt Brace

Suspension, probably from ACE

144 kit

I won't get any of those, unless I buy them myself though.

My family has been either doing no gifts, or Kris Kringle style(with a $50 dollar limit)the last few years. Saves a lot of money and only the pouty ones complain.

If anyone wins the lotto though I want an 09 WR125 and a TE510......:D

This will hold a set of keys nicely.....

Getting my truck painted.....I think. I've wanted to wrap it in graphics of some sort but haven't gotten around to seeing what it would cost.

David, I haven’t talk to him yet
however in this economy, if he don't make them yet
I think he’ll have no problem crafting them quickly…

Aren’t they just smart looking guards?

They are nice looking and I contacted him. Since you posted about them, he has been getting a lot of hits from Cafe Husky. He was asking about the top clamp measurements. The mirror addition is slick and they look super durable!

I just want to make it to the Baja trip so I can spend some time with my existing friends and make some new ones.;)
Oh yeah and world peace.

Dear Santa,

I've been a good boy. Please bring me the following:

1. 2009 WR300
2. The combined skills of Juha, Knighter, and Stewart to ride the piss out of the dang thing!

:D
