  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

FE/FC What the factory triple clamp looks like if your wondering

What a fuck!!!i dont want to spend another 500 to something again and after that 4cs fork revalving/tuning and spending again some money im ready to change something different brandlike sexy frenchie

well my factory connection stuff is close to perfect... may need to have someone double check whats its doing so it can be described to revalver so they can get it right

Ive done revalve with 2-3 different companies and it doesnt change much for my riding skills

I did same thing then bit the bullet and spent big money with Kreft and a huck valve and that took care of all my worries. The triple clamp was just because I wanted to see what it would change, it has its place but I don't think it's a must have. If you run more sag (105) and run your forks flush you'll get the general feel for what a 22 offset would feel like.

I have done that Terry Hay system which is similar to Kreft I think. It moves both sides compression to the bottom and both rebound to the top. From my experience and what others find that solves the main problem with these forks.
Still closed cartridge and just the shims rearranged as per Terry's recommendation.
Before I was struggling now I enjoy every ride and can concentrate on my riding instead of worrying of getting thrown off in the scrub. I can't recommend it enough. Works very well and reasonably priced. No point for me of doing anything else like the triple clamps, can't see how that's going to make a difference at my level. Could have fitted gold valves too, but I haven't even bothered with that yet, it's that good.
I honest have gone from slow to pro with this mod and truly love this bike now!

Okey!i live in Finland and last revalving was done company that uses mb1 suspension valves, pistons etc.
Racetech compression adjusters are not arrived yet, lets hope that changes my mind!!

I know Terry sends stuff overseas and these parts fit in a small parcel or jiffy bag. He also gives you a printed out sheet with how to do what and all the details of the work to do.
These forks are actually easy to work on, I did it myself with the local dealer looking over my shoulder.
Send Terry an email here is the website: http://www.shocktreatment.com.au/
