  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc What is the true weight of an 11 or 12 cr 125/150 ?

Ned

Husqvarna
Has anyone weighed an 11 or 12 CR 125/150 as it comes out of the crate with all fluids except gasoline ?

Fuel weighs about 6 lbs/gallon. A fuel tank at 2.5 gallons would weigh about 15 lbs.
The Dirtrider posted weight of 233 lbs (total) - 15 lbs (fuel) = 218 lbs (bike + oil only).
This is close to what the manual typically states for the WR. The CR weighs about 10 lbs less.

CR is less than 4 pound compare to the CR, Head light, rear light, biger lightning coill a rectifire.

My personal WR150 weighed without gas = 216lbs.
That is with bark busters, ICO Computer, radiator guards, Pirelli tires, Moose H/D innertubes. H/L and Taillight. Pipe guard, and FMF pipe and S/A Silencer.

+ kickstand, heavier flywheel, heavier 18" rear tire. The manual indicated a 10 lb difference. I think that sounds a bit much, but 4-6 lbs seems realistic.

the CR 2010 weight 209pounds so 7 pounds but with all your accesories i guess your bike weight 1 or 2 pounds more than stock so 5 or 6 pounds make sens. There one more gear for the WR right?...

2011/12 has a different frame than that 2010. WR also has a larger tank. I dont trust those magazine clowns, somebody needs a digital freight scale thats been calibrated in the last decade.
