  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

What a Difference!

Installed the TXC air filter frame and Velocity Stack and its like I got a new bike. I cant believe the increase in power. I'm not even worried about doing race map right now, it pulls hard all the way through the rpm range. Off to figure out how to deal with the oil return line that hooks up to the oil drain plug, got me way to nervous about losing the oil. Anyone know the best way to deal with it?

Use the ZipTy drain back kit to fix the exposed hose issue you are concerned with. I have one and it works great. http://www.ziptyracing.com/husqvarna-310-drain-back-kit/
FYI. The main restriction on your bike was the air intake so once you open that up, the gain in HP is instantly noticed. Tweaking the ECU and exhaust will enhance it even more. These bikes are set lean from the factory so a bit more fuel to match the air increase is better for engine life.

Does anyone know if 7602 racing is still in business ? I tried ordering some parts last week and while my paypal and CC was charged, I never got a email confirmation from them, nor do they respond to my emails or phone calls.

Yes they are still around. They don't email you when items ship. I called them and got shipping updates and also mentioned that the no email thing kinda blew. I am sure it already shipped, they are pretty quick from my experience. Great products too!

Yes, we are still around. We just took a few days off to go have some fun. Calls were supposed to be forwarded to my cell phone, but they weren't for some reason.

I apologize for not having an automatic email reply. We try to ship orders out quickly enough that they are at your door before you start to wonder.

Yes. I ordered some rad guards from them last week. And even though I didn't get an email the parts were there in just a few days.

update: I just spent some time adding an automatic email reply. New orders should now get an email letting you know that we did in fact receive your order and we will ship parts out. I apologize for not getting this set up sooner. ok, now back to drawing up new parts for the blue husky's.
