• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

West Coast Gathering @ CH Corporate Facility Napa CA- Thursday May 16th through Sunday May 19th 2013

One week too early for me, got finals...
When I was in college, it was imperative to occasionally step away from studying/books at strategic times.

Regardless, there is a Conversation (PM) about this currently, is anyone wants to be added to that just say so.

Was a great day out there! Some great riding and good times. Had a blast. Thanks again Coffee for hosting some a great event and for the tremendous lunch, :) The corporate headquarters ROCKS.

Thanks Coffee and Mark for your outstanding hospitality. Once all my stuff makes it from the East Coast I promise to do a little more than run your bikes out of fuel. Awesome Chili!!

Sorry Woodschick, forgot the camera in Alameda.

Glad you had a good time! Please contact me if you ever want to come out again!

My little 250 running out of fuel near the 2 police cars waiting for speeders was funny

Ok...now I know someone had to take photos!:)
Sadly we are not that good at taking pictures :(

But I will try to see if anyone else took them.

The fact my drivers license was at your house made it even funnier when officer friendly stopped by for a chat.

Yes, another fun day at the ol' HQ. Extra special thanks to Dean and Mark for hosting and feeding us. I had a great time tearing around the
property trying to keep up with Forrest (Soviet). Dude can ride..... Oh I finally got to check out a TE510 with a Recluse as well. First for me on both.
The only vid that I've got is of our lil' dual sport ride, (Rob and I). There's two clips so far, I can post one now, I'll post more later. It's not too exciting.
Dean, you should buy or make one of those Black Diamond signs to post at the trail head. It's actually Blue Square/Black Diamond but it's kinda tricky there.

That gopro really straightness that road out - those curves are much tighter than it seemed in the video.

At 5:00 it looked like a fun encounter with the hikers and (what appeared to be) their Prius. :D
