• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

WEPG steps up to get the Prospectors MC, Anza enduro back on the WestChec agenda (it was cancelled).

This is great news for us fans of tight and twisty "Eastern" style enduros.
Although I'm not a timekeeper guy (dumb, inattentive, uncaring etc etc).
I am in for this for the epic trail system layed out up at the Ranch at Anza!! Early-Late who cares just let us loose on that twisty single track.
(IMHO One of the best ever enduros (qualifier type:thumbsup:) locally was at this location during the same time as the Husky NA dealer demo day in Sep 2011)

This cafe crew member expects to see a good contingent of SoCal Cafe members at this event.....

News from Erek at WestChec
ROUND 3 SET UP AND READY TO GO!!! The Infamous Snow race is back! This time, if the weather holds up you will get to see everything that Anza has to offer! Even if it snows the race organizers have assured us that the event will go on, in full, no matter what!

This year we have 55 Miles of super tight and technical single track, a moto test, and some gnarly 3rd loop rocks and waterfalls all set up for you! Make sure to be there.

Pre Entry Opens 2/10/13 go to www.ridechec.com for more information as it comes in...

MAKE SURE TO WEAR GREEN FOR ST. PATTIES DAY!!! (by some stroke of coincidence my alt set of AXO gear is green)

I don't know who that guy is in the video but he is great. It's amazing how much quicker a good rider can react whereas I would be thinking about how to get around someone that is stuck. It looks like a fun ride. Have fun and make sure to report back

That was Nick Burson the 2011 US Factory-ZipTy racing Husqvarna Pro on the TXC511.

I was super happy and did really well at that previous event in the 50B class on my TXC450 (1st, my ST times would have put me 3rd in 50A so this year I moved myself up to A, now I'll probably get smoked!!)

Yes open to anyone, just need AMA membership, get it at sign up or online.

And Title is now void its a straight up qualifier, transfer sections then special tests, simple for simpletons like me.

I don't have any foul weather gear! Without that I probably wouldn't enjoy myself, and that is after all why I ride...
Jason, it was good to meet you yesterday - thanks to Forza for coming through w/the goods.

I'm tellin' ya, you gotta get off highway - you're in Mecca!!! The MX here is way better than free-ride Mt. Biking on Otis AFB on Cape Cod!

Likewise! Thats how we do it at Moto Forza! ;)

Rode the Desert dash yesterday, good times and great weather! Looking to do this Anza enduro too. Hoping it doesn't snow!

Ya, I saw you guys out at the park in Borrego while heading back home from a D38 Race over at Superstition OHV. There was a lot of people on that ride - looked like a good one.
