• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hello, I'm Mark, and have been lurking here and over at TT getting info on the new Husky 4-strokes, trying to decide between the '09 TE310, '10 TE250 or '10 TE310. They all look like great woods bikes. I'm looking for an Enduro bike mainly that I can also do a Dualsport ride on maybe twice a year. I'm 55 and weigh 165 so don't need a lot of power so I'm thinking the 250-310 should be about right. I currently ride a KTM '08 250XCW/e which is a great bike but can't be tagged here in AL.
My last Husky was a '00 WR250 and I'm looking foward to getting on another one soon.

Thanks Cafe Husky for a great Website!

Any good husky dealers in N.J

I bought a 2008 leftover Te450 and have had a number of problems and the one dealership I'm dealing with is terrible...

Some may have seen the name from other places, best
said is I am a friend of the Huskys and their owners.

I have 4 bikes, all the far easy colors if you will.
The next addition will be a plated Euro bike, the
problem is-When?

Hi, I love the site! I'm not much of a poster but I love reading and researching in the forums. I'm in northern Arizona and my current bikes are a TC 510 converted for off road and a DR 650. After researching the TE 610, I have decided I want to go in that direction. Thanks for the great resource.

Welcome aboard. I assume that the 610 is a replacement for the DR. You wont regret it.

Welcome to CafeHusky, Wacked 1  I've been keeping an eye on your thread, and I'm sorry you're having such a tough time with your bike and your dealer. It sounds like you got a few suggestions for better dealers, though, so maybe one of them can make things right for you? I hope you can come to terms with your new bike, as they truly are good machines. Feel free to go to this forum:

Good luck:thumbsup:

Hello

I've been searching around this site for a couple weeks now since I bought my first Husky (09 TE250). This is a great site with some valuable information. Thanks!!

Here are a couple pictures from my first DIRT ride in the Ojai, California area........

I also have some videos on youtube - http://www.youtube.com/user/rocknroll7890
I need to put some on there with the new bike though.

Cheers,
Devin

Husky New To Me

Hi every one
i'm Lee and i live on the isle of Man.Its only a small island but great for all types of riding.I've got a 06 610sm,XT600 and a GSXR1000.

Hi all im oneal, ive got a 99 Husky wr 250 which seems to be a bit of a rolling project at the mo. Ive also got three other jap bikes and a Gas Gas ec 250. But my Husky is more fun to ride but im just waiting on a lot of spares to turn up.

Hey y'all - just found this board (Thanks to George from Up-tite!).

Live in Vancouver BC, ride a 2005 510SMR mostly night riding in trails, industrial parks with great group. Really like the dirt parts - would love to have a second bike to really get fully on with the off-road, especially now that the rain is coming.

My 3rd season only but the addiction is well under way. :)

Always interested in finding new places to ride and people to ride with. Glad to be here!

Peace,

Colin
