• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I called Robert (thank god I had his # still in my phone lol) and got their address. They are very much still in business, billing issue with website team should be resolved shortly. The above address is actually the shop, if you are in the area, you can stop by, that is if you can handle strong foam smells. haha

Awesome seat by great people at a fantastic price. I have three after never owning a aftermarket seat and freaking love them. There foam and seat covers are perfectly selected for my needs. Great stuff.

I love my seatconcepts seat and have been thinking about making a new one for the 511 that is wider and fits to the plastics better. I'm 6'6 so if it extended back a little, I'd be thankful.

My seat concepts 511 seat, love it.

They did respond to a PM from me the other day, so I would say they are alive. You can buy their fine wares through your dealer....

They stopped by George's shop and left some seats on consignment....3 or 4....a variety for Huskies and maybe a Beta

Site is back online, just clicked the linky on top of this page. Good thing too because I'm getting ready to order one myself

We are still here guys!
Not only are we still here, but we have moved into a new shop twice the size of our old one!!!

We have several new seats in the pipe line, but the one you guys will be excited about is the 650 Terra, its getting the seat covers made now, ready to ship next week, accepting pre orders!

My seat is extra thick, but it needs to be extra wide. I'm thinking as wide as the side plastics will do. Then all I need is a drink holder and a TV screen...

Do you have a team of elves that scrub this bike while you sleep?

Um, I love my Seat Concepts seat too....

Note pressure washer wand in the yard. that, some simple green and time are what keep it looking good. In the NW if you dont wash the clay mud off well you have a garden growing on your bike, not good. I try to keep my bikes nice and clean. And that bike is far from a garage queen. You should see some of the stuff I drag that bike though. Note skid plate full of mud...
