  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st Video of the young lad on his Husky

Ahhhh the youth...no sense of fear, flexible bones and the attitude of having fun but wanting to win, keep encouraging the boy and to keep enjoying it.
Also, get the young lad to work on his own bike, give that sense of ownership and how hard the old man has to work to support him

We are holding off on the big US races until next year. The young lad is only 13 and i don't feel he is ready to fight with the wolves. We are hoping to run the quali's next season and go to LL's in school boy. We have been to LL's and I have a feel of where he needs to be to do well down there and I don't think he is quite there. He needs to be another year stronger.

Awesome stuff. Great parental support and the rig and everything. Awesome. Hope he knows how good he has got it.

He is very appreciative of what we do. His GPA is over 90% and he works his but off. As long as that continues we will continue to support him as best we can.

Nice! A little Sand Del Lee action! That place is about 10 mins down the road from my old mans house. Really nice track, with a lot of good riders! Good Luck!

Great racing...seems to have what it takes even after a gate problem to find the right lines to pass and the drive to focus on winning
