• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Hey is there anyone in Utah who can help me optimize my EFI? I read on here where one guy adjusted his FB1 to improve his fuel mileage - I will get the software and cable because I'd like to learn it, but right now I don't really know what I'm doing. Seeing how I'm off for a long trip on this bike soon, I don't really want to experiment. Is there anyone out there willing to teach me, or point me in the right direction for how to learn it?

I would like to be able to also switch it around a little as the need presents itself. Without overstating the potential for change, right now I would prefer a little better mileage, but later I might want a few more horses. That sort of thing.
 
Bad news man.. BMW/Husky of Utah is dropping the Husky line. There is someone looking to pick up the line. But Until then, MotoTech is in Boise Idaho. And there is also Beaudry Motosports in Post Falls Idaho. But if you call BMW of Utah, They may still be able to help you before they totally drop the line and start to only offer easy maintenence stuff.

I dont have a whole lot of knowledge on the EFI, but Im a local so Im always up for shootin the breeze with another Husky fan! Which part are of the state are ya in? Shoot me a PM
 
JR, you serious? Man, this is the first I have heard about Husky getting dropped by them. I am very disappointed. I better go chat with them about future servicing and such. Any idea what they are doing with the demo's?
 
Most bikes were returned to Husqvarna North America. But There might be a TC450 and TC510 left. Troy said he was going to put them on KSL.com but i have yet to see them. The guys at BMW of Sandy did say that there were a few other dealers talking with Husky NA about setting something up. Sounded like Husky is interested in getting another dealer set up here again. Dont know anything about time frames though..

If you need help servicing your bike, let me know! Ill teach ya what I can so you can work on your own stuff. Better to know your own stuff and be able to fix it anywhere, anytime. Same for you Ripmeister! Just ask if ya need anything.

Oh and sean, Im hoping to get some dirt wheels for the 250 sometime soon so I can get some more dirt practice in. So lets make sure we go riding!
