• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

FLICKI77

Husqvarna
I own a TE 250 2010 model with POWER COMMANDER (took off all the non relevant components)
i still have no power in low Revs,
I want to upgrade the injector to 12 holes (8000H7563)
should i use the POWER COMMANDER after the upgrade?
any one did the upgrade with the injector and the power commander?

where is the best place to buy the 12 hole injector kit (8000H7563)?

Well I won both a 2010 Te250 with a 4 pt injector and a 2012 TXC310 with the 12 pt injector.

The 12 pt is definitely snappier but the 4pt runs well too. No stalling on either. The 4pt has a more "4 stroke feel" at low rpms.

My TE250 is running 105 107 108 with an open Arrow pipe with no SA.

With the SA it runs 3 less across the board.....102 104 105

what is SA? Spark Arrestor?

If you use SA, and lower them 3 across the board, how does it feel?

Definitely less off the bottom bark with the SA in. A lot less noise too!

The 310 is too snappy with the SA out. Good for MX..not for slimy woods.

what happens if you put in the SA with the same settings you use without SA? how does it feel on the TE?

If your "SA out" settings are a little lean then it may be okay....all you can do it try it.

I find it best to adjust COs for the SA.

i rode the Beehive and experiences some missing and bit of backfire on on-off throttle transtions.

I'm going to increase CO1 and 2 up 2 points a see if it is better.

I put a 12 port injector out of a kx450 I cant remember what year, but it was much cheaper than a husky part
