Hello All!
Thought I'd post this here too. . .
(Video at end)
A long term friend of Mark's (Shop Owner) took a ride.
Whats so special you say? The ride took place in South Africa. Furthermore, the ride was a charity event put on through Unicef. For two weeks, Mitch Piper (Rider/Helmet Cam) rode the trails of South Africa helping the folk out there, and of course, riding some pretty sweet terrain!
What's even cooler, is that every rider is completely SPONSORED! They go around to several different shops, and ask for each to pitch in for the cause. I have been told, that when all is said and done, each rider raises up around $10,000.00 dollars to pay for their bike, gear, and trip out there, as well as the remaining lump sum going towards Unicef. After the ride, the bikes in the video, are donated to doctors, and other people, that are unable to navigate the rugged terrain in Africa, in order to reach people requiring medical care.
Thanks Mitch, and all other riders, for representing the biking community, and all it stands for!
P.S. The bikes aren't Husky's, but i thought this would be cool to share anyways

Thanks!
