• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Txc310 2012 Wr125 With 144cc Kit Free For 2012 Billf

The bike MAY pass CARB standards, but maybe they did not pay to have it certified. God knows Cali is hurting for cash and maybe they wanted an outrageous amount for the cert. Never rule out politics when things dont make sense :oldman:

PS notice the absence of "gunsite" logo....apparently Husqvarna AB (swedish legacy part and owners to that logo have said new regime cannot use so buy up those clothes and hats and stuff now!

Well that's a bummer!

I don't get it. the TXC is based off of the TE, which is street legal. So it has passed the required emissions regs. Why would it be red sticker. I think last year even the TC's were green sticker.
I discovered the reasoning.

It is 'ready to go' without all the 'PU' kit nonsense. That is the reason.

It might not be desirable depending on where people live or where they ride, but that is the reason.

I found out the reason for that also.

The Graphics did not look good the way they were designing them. More of a technical issue than a licensing issue - at least for the Husqvarna Motorcycles products.

So the difference between the TXC and the TE is lights and emissions??? Nothing else? I was under the impression it had some parts from the TC?

Newb question... It doesn't look like the 2012 WR125 has a headlight. Did previous years WR125/WR150 come with a headlight?

cr will also come with 144 kit.wr should come with the headlight as had in the past.will know for sure when we get one later this week, dan

I love my WR125 / 150. I don't think the engine is dated at all. It is fast, torquey, and long lived. Mine has lasted all year. A lot of racing on same top end and rings. I just hope they get the carb jetting fixed. Either Mikuni or Keihin. Probably should go down to a 35 or 36mm. Be sure that they get the float level fixed which has been a major issue in getting jetting right.

We got our first 2 in yesterday ,they had proper jetting:thumbsup: and head/tail and dash as usual. The new ignition did make a big difference .

Rich Daly at Dynoport sleeved my PWK 38 down to 36 when he built my pipe. Good results from the change, so I'm with you on the 36. '92-96 Husky 125's had TM 35's.

So is the new ignition on the WR digital? Will it bolt up to the 09-11 WRs? How much for the parts? (If so, me wants one bad!)

I may sell my Wr150 saturday,if so ill have a 2012 at the ride so you can compare it.
