• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

AA Class
Silly question for those in the know. What class do I sign up for with a 310? Open, 250, 450? Desert race.

Here we so many age classes so can just pick your age group and ride what you want.

check the club, org etc. regulations as well as what everyone posted.
Nat H&H you would be SEN OPEN (40-49) but some of the district races are also broken down to SEN LWT and SEN HWT with the 310 you would be SEN HWT its a cheater E2 bike in a E1 package (250F oversize) referring to FIM regulations.
As for skill A(ex), B(int), or C(nov), if you never raced you are for sure legit to try the C class, but sometimes the C class is not required to do all the course loops, so you miss out on the good challenges and the bench racing stories that follow!!,,,, so gauge your own ability, but most importantly get out there challenge the course and have fun and enjoy yourself safely. Participate dont spectate!!
most of the Vet 30 and + age classes for most races are open displacement classes, so that said Sen 40+ A B C that is about the most they will break down classes.

There is one that is in utah but I am not sure of the name. There is a race in delta utah and one out west close to the bonneville race tracks that I would like to do.
