• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Just keep moving about every 1hr or so to get the circulation going, stretching etc, you'll be right...could always suggest to the missus to join the mile high club as a form of DVT prevention :D

Hay kenny310 am landing on 23rd at 5am will be driving to victoria 3030, what time are you guys riding and where do i get my horror car too join in the mayhem?
Not to sure i will be able to get sim that early in the day but can use brother inlaws landline.

I was impressed by the 4 stroke 310 the power delivery is smooth but firey quite similar to my 360 power wise wich shocked me i was expecting it to be flat and heavy, pleased i didnt hold you up!
Thanks for showing me a few of your mates places the madmax guys were awesome.

I will keep you posted no worries, am going to get sim today so dont be suprised if you get a text from a random number.
Hope the bike came up alright as it was immaculate when you handed it over to me.

Well im near perth with shawbagga, sound bloke i smashed his fender good hit a tree wiping out lol
Blew through 80% of the sand berms man that stuff you gotta hit right, washed front end out on the other 20% was cracking riding tho.

All i can say is if youve not been outside the uk your missing out on serious fun!
Definitely coming out again am hooked.
Cheers shawry
You are a legend!

cheers for the beer mate, im up to can number 8 as I type this! bit more rain before hand would have made the riding bit easier on ya(gets grippier/holds together better) but cant complain bout the weather eh! next time wel get up to the hills & the clay soil not sand. the old 300 came up alright after a bit of a wash & some tweaking haha. il post up about that clutch adjustment but reckon ill just go the whole hog(basket, hub, steels, fibres & springs & that shaft thingy-everything bar the pressure plate pretty much!) from BMP or Halls sometime in the future. shel keep on keeping on for a bit longer yet I reckon-husky tough!!!;)

ps might look at getting the rmz or yzf fender(whichever fits better) for the more modern look so ill check out ebay. :D

pps still having visions of you nearly endo'ing that log jump/drop off! you were hooking along pretty nicely today in that single-I was working to stay on ya rear wheel! was a good coupla days mate, glad you enjoyed it & hope you missed the traffic on way home:cheers:

Pmsl i had brown pants from that one!
But the springs held my feeble weight have a few wounds a bruise on my ass from the failed log hop and bike landed on me lol yup was a very good couple of days.
Thanks again dont drink them all in one go.
