• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

this is my first video....bear with me. '18 TC 125. "Trigger".

should have started earlier. shadows are too long. other than that this 40$ chicom camera works VERY nicely. video and sound are good. select HD on youtube...it defaults to junk for some reason.

this is some really rocky, rolling, two-track in the woods/ravines behind my shop. it''s got some tight stuff, big bumps and 2 fast sections with consequences (= go off and die). give it a minute to get going. fun stuff, two big saves, bunches of wheelies. hang on!

hehehe it's a 40$ camera, its a keeper. pleased with it. going to get a few more and place them in the trees, do some ride by's and blend them into the footage with some music once i learn the technical stuff about that.

im very happy with the new TC125 in the woods. the suspension is SO good out of the box it's amazing....i was slamming huge rocks tied to China, monster g-outs and just flying over it all...man that bike is good. and it's box stock with a TE150 tank, bash plate, sparky, JD kit and that's it. the motor pulls like a train, its REALLY fast. mreeep mreeep!
 
Glad you are liking the bike, nice video too for an inexpensive camera.
But the video is killing me, -2 degrees here tonight with over a foot of snow on the ground, sure wish I could ride.
 
were finally gettin some rain n stuff. trees are getting a drink. ground will be nice for a few days after. cant wait....mreeeep!

unreal how good it is....the motor is strong. im suprized at the amount of controlable "roll-on" it has. yeh sure it rips up top all 125's do pretty much, but i can get it in the power where or just before the valve starts to want to open, then roll on and it comes on nicely, good grunt, gentle blend into the "shriek zone". or i can smoke the clutch a gear too tall and just get sideways and hang mingers everywhere. suspension: it laughs at everything. hard to see in the video, but there some BIG g-outs....hit them in 2nd or 3rd, launch, smoke the clutch and keep going. i'm sitting over stuff i used to stand for (im sure that will bite me soon for being lazy!). this thing is good.

i took a lot of time thinking about what was going to replace the '12 WR300. i made the right choice. if the 150 is half this good? you did too.
 
sorry buddy.....been working on some projects here.

been snowing a lot. crummy weather for riding- in the teens, grounds frozen.

got a couple more camera's coming for some more better videos and stuff. gona take a few to get to that.

oh yeh...also getting over a couple infections. got a metal sliver under my finger nail and it went to fester, and i got a bad bug too cough hack so that's kept me off for a couple weeks. yuck!

the bike? its just fully awesome. not a lot to update.
