• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Went in to get a pilot jet dont stock any try to get rear sprocket have to order they dont stock hardly anything. Its a harley shop in my eyes just my 2daughter cents

Joe I told you the best place to get your husky parts is Halls Husqvarna in Springfield Il

Call 217-789-0107 ask for Jeff Order on tue receive parts tax free on fri There are a few other dealers out there also but Halls seems to have everything

Yes they sell Harleys... but I certainly would not judge a shop exclusively on what pilot jets they may have in stock. You might be surprised how many well respected, but smaller, Husqvarna dealers would need to order those.

In addition to being a CafeHusky sponsor, Paul the owner is quite passionate about off road riding and also sponsors some Super Moto riders. In addition I know at least one person that drove to Simi Valley from Las Vegas to buy a Husqvarna from Paul.

Being totally honest, which I am to a fault, knowing all I know about the shop and Paul - I would highly recommend them to anyone. Paul is extremely clear thinking and knows how to approach things in logical a manner.

They were a sponsor for Barstow to Vegas when I went in 2010, and sent me a package of swag, air and oil filters, and discounts for being a CafeHusky member and riding the event. They gave some nice stuff to Husky riders at the banquet as well. Yes, Paul seemed like a nice guy and cared about the sport and Husky.

every dealer is different. In the LB area, there is a dealer who handles 3 of the major 4 brands, i went in to pickup a pilot jet and air jet, they had none, everything is ordered and no jets in stock, and this was for a 41 mm carb that everybody uses. go figure...

In a day where the economy is bad. Alot of dealers just do not want to sit on parts for to long, so often do not stock. I myself stick with Halls. And most of the time make the 11 hour drive to grab my new bike to.

Sorry to disappoint Joe, we typically have a pretty good inventory of sprockets both standard and red in stock unfortunately we weren't able to fill your order when you arrived. Our bad.

As for the pilot jet, the demand for two stroke 125 jets in our market (SoCal) is pretty limited (although my son does race one) I believe that your request for one was the first since we have been a dealer (3 years) . Most of the new bikes we sell come with a pretty good assortment of jets with the bike and don't get much call for them , and most of the bikes that are a few years old pretty much have the jetting dialed in at this point.

At any rate, drop me an email at Paul@Tri-CountyPowersports.com and I'll give you a little something towards your next purchase for the inconvenience.

Hey Paul,
Would you mind opening a dealership in Indonesia? Man do we need a dealer like you in my neck of the woods! Harleys sell pretty well over here too!
Peace, and keep up the good work.

As for the OP. I can understand your frustration. I sometimes have to wait 2 weeks to get parts that I feel should be stocked on the shelves. Fact is, if they were to stock everything that a customer could possible ask for they'd need a shop the size of a stadium.
