• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Trail Video

It was Great.

When you work around the house all day a don't get a chance to ride all weekend... Sometimes a fellow video is all you get.

Nice a green where you're riding no dust what a treat.:D

What bike? I guess a WR250?

Anyway Thx for sharing send some more.

I enjoyed watching it. I was listening to Paralyzer when I was walking the dog earlier and it has been stuck in my head. :applause:

I don't know where you went riding but if it was in California, it must have been in Northern California.

Thanks guys.

Husky: It was the best bike made. A RM250 with a trail tech 8" HID  Serious though, that it was i ride when I feel froggy. It does seem to ride me more these days:D

Dirt Dame: It was in North Idaho. Way up north.

So do you think that the noise balance was ok between the bike and music? The pic quality is poor, but it looks great on a computer. Please, tear it up. I can take it.

The balance of sound seemed to be good. It's all personal preference, but I never like rock songs that have vocals as background for dirt videos. I would never choose anything with vocals unless somehow they really specifically matched what was going on in the video.:p It's also nice that you didn't look all around and down at your bike or your hangnail or whatever. There's nothing worse than watching a video where the rider is whipping the camera around to glance at something or down to fiddle with something on the handlebars or burping really load.

I want to come riding over there! :)
Good video
ps tell your buddy to sell the XR and buy a TE510!

I enjoyed that - the sound from the onboard microphone is pretty good and the music level was ok too (so long as some spoilsport doesn't flag it for copyright violation...)

I liked the "08 riding videos" too - some pretty tight woods there.

Quality was excellent-were you standing. The colour was nice there was no evident vibration or pixelation.
