• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Tractor Hare Scrambles 2013 Version!

dreaded rare for me.....dnf. no further comments. I'll be back strong asap. no more than 2 weeks.

Rob borrowed my KTM for the race and of course it took a s---. That's where the DNF came from.

Don't worry Rob. I took one for the team. :)

On a serious note, I look forward to some reports. You and Ajax are a big part of me wanting to race. I loved reading and watching the races you all posted. Now it's time for me to give it a try :)

Co has some really good XC/enduro type events. get on the trail man!! you have brilliant landscapes to ride on, I would touch base with 7602 for some local knowledge of clubs and events. Great stuff out there!!

Oh yeah, I'll be at each of the 9 local races that are Grand Prix/hare scramble. Then there are 2 larger organizations that travel regionally here for hare scrambles and enduros. Plan on doing the CO rounds with them too. Next year hopefully I can hit all the really cool races you guys do. I want to try all the big races, specifically the harder enduros or "extreme" events

missing a brilliant invite only tough ride this weekend.....bummed for weekend 2 in a row.
I'll be ready for 16MAR BORCS 2013 round 1 and 17MAR AMA WestChec enduro---yep going to make it a 2 day racing event weekend on both sides of the border.

Ok again no comment/story on DNF but here you can see me leave (waaay last off my 46+ open line) to the left just before the intermediate open class camera guy goes, happily I keep them off me and even gap them a little ,then you see me doa on the right just before the "real" course begins.
Story- those 2 jumps just before the single track.....I over jumped and flat landed the crap out of both of them in my hi-anger mode (thanks 6.4 spring). Then you can why I'm bummed to have missed that epic/tough course with perfect dirt!!
