  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

This guy is seling this TM local to me - looks awesome
TM s have a real factory look to them and are the best looking bike IMO - maybe colours getting a bit dated
Quite tempting - DEP pipe - polished alum. frame ; Vortex variable ignition - looks like hes a fanatic
at similar price to a husky with all the riding gear - shame its not a 144 version
Not sure about the claimed 38 hp on the dyno though
Heard that they put out lots of power
any one heard anything about these?

Sweet bikes. More race oriented than trail but very nice. Local dealer and race shop deals them and there whole race team is on them, very smart guy with lots of husky and KTM experience (motor and suspension race shop) and LOVES them. Parts might be interesting to get in a hurry. I have ridden a TM300 (03 I think) and was not real impressed, it was OK but all top end which was weird for a 300. Then I rode a 2009 530 with full ohlins suspension, a 11K bike and WOW, just freaking WOW. Super fast, EZ to ride and awesome suspension. WOW.

so it must be running high compression ?
He also posted a youtube video where he starts the bike up and thrashes it along a road and blows the bottom end - looked really fast though - pretty long push back

so it now has a new motor
I wouldnt mind riding it to see how it goes
There is a very good TM dealer not too far away so it would get looked after
Like you say it may be a bit too much of a race bike ?- I know it would nt look as good as it does now after a few decent rides
