• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Tko Extreme (tennessee Knock Out)

I am planning on going down for that, I will see a world class event less than 2 hours from my house!

I had plans to go too, but Fantasy Football drafts will screw up my motorcycle itch... Looks like it's gonna be a blast!!!

I am going and I am getting excited!
Anybody know if Husqvarna will have a presence in sundays pro race? The website says Cory Graffunder will, but I did not see him at x games enduro cross.
GP

iirc cory's wrist? was sore from what i heard is the reason he didn't compete in the xgames. hope to see the huskies at indy for the endurocross friday!!

I wish I was going to Indy for the GP & Enduro-X... I heard the Indy Mile was cancel because the stage collapsed last month. I went to the 1st 2 GP's at the brickyard & enjoyed Indianapolis thoroughly
Have fun & take some pics

I hope they get a good turnout so it happens again. I have a gut feeling they won't. There's other fairly big local races in the south this weekend, plus a Nat'l Enduro and the Indy EnduroX. It's just tough to find a free weekend to put a race on.

I signed up for this but had a change of plans and won't be racing anywhere this weekend. Oh well, I'm looking forward to the Little Brown Jug next weekend!

Just got back from the Tennessee Knockout, Awesome!
1. Mike Brown KTM 4t
2. Cody Webb Beta 4t
3. Paul Brochnau KTM 2t (not sure about the spelling)

Taddy was very fast but had a bike problem in the first round and was knocked out. They cut it to 25 for the second round and then 10 for the final.
Conditions were very extreme steep hills, rock gardens, creek beds and large boulders that looked more like a trials section. Just amazing to see the pace they kept up even after three rounds. Saw riders flip over backwards several times trying to make it up the hills, and even among the final 10.

Zip Ty Husky were there, Lanza and Sandoval looked good but did not make the final 10. Talked to Ty Davis a little about the 48mm Zokes on the bikes, he says they are very good but they don't seem to be in a hurry to make any. Bikes were EFI. They looked sharp.

All the riders were very friendly, and my wife got pictures and autographs from many of them including Taddy, he was fun to talk to.

Overall, more exciting than enduro-X because of the steep hills and trees that you won't have in an arena.
I will try and post some pictures in a few days.
Can't wait for next year!!!

This was the best spectating off road race I have ever been to. Great spots to watch the action with just a little bit of walking. All the riders were in their pits between races and were happy to talk and sign autographs for my daughters. It was really good to see the top riders and for them to be so friendly.

I got to talk with Ty Davis about the new bikes and even got some pointers on my 09 WR 300. Team Zip Ty Husky did good but did not get into the finals because of the format. Overall very impressed with the venue and the race setup. I hope this is only the beginning of many family trips to see great racing close to home!
