  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

A Class
As some of you know, I purchased a 2013 TE511 recently. I'm really excited about riding this bike as a dual sport and a dirt bike (as seen in the last video I posted on here) to accent my 13 KTM 350 XC-F but the biggest reason I bought it was to be my snow bike next winter. I built a TXC511 snow bike early this season (the one in my profile pic) as a demo for my shop and the bike worked so incredibly well that it sold immediately and I've sold 12 more 511's for snow bikes since then. The 511 just out pulls every other bike out there in deep powder where torque matters and the close ratio is actually an advantage in the snow.

Last Monday I went for a great ride with friends. We covered almost 70 miles in one day and I got some great footage. I know it's a KTM that I'm riding on this day but I don't have a kit for my 511 yet. I ordered it for next season.

Enjoy and watch in 1080****************************************

Friggin EMI have blocked the vid on soundtrack copyright grounds, wankers. I love these vids.

dude, i was in columbia falls for 2 weeks visiting a buddy out there at the begining of this month i wish i would have known somebody was out there. would have loved to check that thing out!

you guys have such beutiful scenery out that way! which lake was that you were riding along in the begining, hungry horse? my buddy took me to the mx park you guys have up there, talk about pretty cool. one thing i noticed was the amout of broken bottles on trails(not the mx park but all around there on the fire roads etc). from what i gathered there would probably be more access if people werent so damn stupid and cleaned up their mess but we all know how that goes, only takes a few to ruin it for many.

When I get tired of living in California, or just can't afford it anymore, my new home will be in that part of the country.

Then Imma gonna get me one of those.

Good eye. That was Hungry Horse Reservoir below us. The MX track in Hungry Horse is fun and I'm practicing there tonight, but it's not a great track. We have a groomed, watered, and maintaned track in Kalispell that is much better. The glass and garbage around that area is due to kids partying. Our real trails (single track) are clean and highly maintaned. Us riders have cleaned that area over and over again and we will continue to to keep riding there.
