Just bought an '07 Whippersnipper thats only done 70kms and Im setting it up for my 1st ride next week going over all the basics like lubing throttle and clutch cables, fitting new Funnelweb air filter, transferring my Pivot Pegz, greasing shock linkages etc
Looking at the throttle cable as it comes under the tank I see it is routed beside the headstay which means it has to bend back to enter the top of the carb body. Will the cable have a cleaner entry into the carb body if I reroute it through the centre of the head stay? Does it come factory to the side or through the guts of the headstay? I just wanted to get some feedback if others have gone this way before I go to the hassle of rerouting. Cant wait to get this bike out onto some singletrack !
Other current rides: '04 VOR 450 ENE, '76 XR75
Previous Huskies: '06 TE250, '88 AE430 bought new in the mid 90's out of the long term storage crate, should have kept it :-( WR360 x 2, '94 TE410, WRK260 x 2
thanks
