• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

The Pacific Northwests finest trails

That was a good day.

Endless single track, climbs, scenery... love that place. That open play area looking stuff coming out from the Lake (end of vid) is cool huh

now thats what I call single track heaven

and at a good pace too.....are those huge cut timber logs close to the trail as daunting as they look....I'd hate to catch a peg on one :excuseme:

and by golly...thats snow in them thar hills ****************************************!

Troy...yes many of those logs are very close to the trail! Best time of the year to ride...no dust. Nice video Brandon (had a beer as prescribed)! I would love to be riding with you all, but I took a pretty good digger...non-displaced fracture of the shoulder!

Great video and some pretty hardcore terrain - hats off to you sir!

The ST track near the end blew away a few cobwebs here too.

It was all good Kelly
And yes, that open area with the fallen trees was a blast.

I was passed by the same bike twice. With a different CH member at the helm each time :censored: The 1st time I could have (or maybe should have...) stuffed him back up the hill he came down. The second was a well planned sneak attack around a tree. Never heard it coming, but I did see him bounce off a tree after :D

Bike ran flawless. The jetting was right on for those temps and conditions.

Hope you all enjoyed. I really was my pleasure making it.

The 94 was possessed and wanted to run up front all day. Had something to show it's younger brothers. Could not hold it back. :)

I thought that was Jake on your bike on the first pass and you on the 2nd one...you were hauling @$$, bouncing all over the place! How's the suspension?

David

PS Has Jake stopped riding his TXC 250?

Since I'm laid up for a while, these videos allow me feel right there. I always look forward to seeing your videos and it was a bonus to see Kelly, Jake and I thought I saw Adam!?!?

I end up using the husky as my race bike and grabbing whatever I feel like riding when I go trail riding.
