• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

The Outdoors is upon us

1130cst tonight is moto II, only one with a different title for hangtown so im guessing thats it anyway lol

This does sound like weak coverage ... I'm trying to see it on youtube now ... Track looked great and the the racing looking great also ... Blows that sx stuff outta the water ....

How about Courtney Duncan on her YZ125 smokin the WMX 250F field with a 1-1 finish! She was WFO and it wasn't even close.

She is from NZ. Recently turned pro and this was her first big race in the USA. I'll bet one of the mfgs will get her on a 4T pronto! Can't have a 2 stroke putting the beat down on the latest and greatest 250 thumpers!

This could be interesting before finished ... She and that 2t have already penetrated the outer perimeter of the 4t shell ... And what cool, undetected, expected way to crack some 4t eggs ...

PS -- I raced my WR250 Husky last weekend in a sx race and it was a blast! I'm adding a FWW before next race this weekend ;0) ...

EDIT: Too late on a different ride ... She has already smacked the 4t kids back ~~~10yrs or so

In case you guys didn't get to see any of the race. Here's some it.

That link went bad bigtime..

Was my new best GF on that video kicking every brand spanking new super hopped up new japanese 250cc 4t machine in the whole USA off the track and into the weeds and left for dead all day long on that video? ... This is one time I'm glad a Husky was not involved in such a 125 2t no-names-taken slaughtering of fine japanese colored plastic ....

Rumor is she never looked back once while on the track all day long ... She was just freggin' gone**************************************** And I hope some copycat riders arrive next race...

I'm starting to fade with these AofAS guys and their attitude on copy writes grounds ....
