• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Rik can make a big bike look like a mini bike. But he does look good on it ! We need to get him on a WR300 !

Well if you waited to do signup and you want to ride the event you
had better hurry and do the online signup now**************************************** They only have 4 spots
open... yup 4 open of the 500 rider limit.

I will be going to Tenn. for my very first enduro race with to of my buddy's, both KTM riders, one of them has been racing for meny years and the other will be his first enduro to. We are coming from Michigan or should I say, SAND country, so I hope the terrain is simler in the woods soft and lome. I will be sporting my newly rebuilt (way to much $$$$ :excuseme: ) 2004 TE250 w/300 kit and maybe some new tires (Michellin S12xc front and rear). If any of you have ridden this race before or just know the area let me know what to expect.

I have front and rear brake rotor guards on as well as uptite skid plate, doe's any one think I should leave them on for this race? Trying to shave uneeded weight:rolleyes:.

Rocky, Hills, Hardpack, woods, loam and roots. Fun Stuff.

Vinduro, you might want to define rocky a little more. Rocky around here probably isn't the same rocky it is for someone who's from another part of the country. I've never been there but honestly, you're the first I've heard call it rocky. To me rocky is Utah. With plenty of rocks is like the White Rock Enduro in Arkansas. Thanks,

Rooty, Scattered rocks. Similar to white rock in places but not as much for sure. Tight woods , Slick in places.

I've done this the last 4 years and it's a great race. I'm not preregistered this year though. I may go last minute and try to get a spot. I'd describe the terrain as predominantly rooty, clay soils, pines, some rocks but nothing to even consider setting a bike up for. It's similar to Cherokee and one of my favorite races anywhere.

I am only 30 miles away right now. I have to drive home (while working) tomorrow and finish packing and drive back (300 Miles) on Friday. Call on a few more dealers before heading up to Westpoint. I am excited. This is always a great event.
