• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Chilly you rode the 91 KTM250EXC that was a fun choice man. The identical 91 version 300 was my first KTM, I got rid of all the "mint" graphics and seat very quickly (at the time for me it was a freakish looking thing). but now for the sake of authenticity yours looks great.

Krieg, Team Green Offroad Kawasaki (dont know if KXF250 or 450?, I think 450). Both Bobby G and Taylor R rode out of the Team Green Vans.

Another race data FYI, our crew's 2nd and 3rd placed 40A guys averaged @ 17mph, our crew's 1st and my 2nd place 40B average was @14mph
Taylor Robert's P1 Pro speed averaged @20mph for the 2 loops, I think the Pro average would be around 19 if we use all their times. (Holy mackeral,,,,,,I spent almost 4 friggan hours, @2hr per Loop, in the saddle!!)

A little off subject but for Chilly and his minty Kato.
This gentleman racer, see foto (my friend Davide) is the reason that I was on a 1991 KTM300EXC just like the Chilly bike for couple of years in the early to mid 90s. That bike was a bullet proof tractor. I havent gotten off Euro bikes since then.

Italian Trophy Team rider Davide Trolli at the 1991 ISDE in Czechoslovakia (yes it was still that) he and his KTM300 finished 2nd in the 500cc class (open), he also won the Italian Enduro 500cc championship that year as well as both (the only) 2 day WEC grands prix he entered in 91. I know if he contested the entire WEC that year he would have gotten his second WEC championship. I was sold on this bike!

Now back to the THS, any H cam of the sporty sections?? More Fotos from the sporty sections?
PS customer bikes had the USD WP forks.

That was near the 4hr in the saddle mark (tired mode) very near the end of the 2nd loop, the finishline was very close. Lost the front in front of God and everyone in the pits, tried to rail that corner and look good for the end of the race!! ............ I was laughing at myself.
Then I saw that they captured that fall in pics and it even has the club member's 400 in the background that just made it all good!!
