• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husqvarna
AA Class
I have tried my best to troubleshoot here’s what I’ve done so far

Replaced fuel pump/fuel filter/checked pressure 45psi
Pulled injector and cleaned
Replaced intake boot
Checked valves and shimmed to spec .004-.006 intake and .006-.008 exhaust
New spark plug

I’ve looked through the forums and someone with a similar problem mentioned replacing the coolant temperature sensor.

Has it ever been adjusted with ibeat? Just after I got mine I was dealing with the same thing. I had Dan at motoxotica adjust it and all bogs went away.

no I’ve never had it adjusted with ibeat. I did the dealer supplied power up and it’s ran fine ever since so I don’t know what could have changed. I’ll look into taking it in for a remap. Is there any way to bench test the coolant temperature sensor?

I finally got an Ibeat setup and messed around with the co settings and was able to fix the problem. Thanks 268fords for pointing me in that direction.

Hello, I have a similar problem with my 08 te510. I bought the bike without an O2 sensor (it has a black in it), does this mean I will struggle to amend/adjust things in Ibeat? I have the Ibeat software but the TPS and CO settings and greyed out.

The TPS show 908 ? and the CO are already set at 110, 110 & 100.

The bike is stock apart from the o2 sensor blank.

Any help that would be appreciated

The bike was meant to be ran without the lamda probe(02 sensor). They were sold with the probe to meet federal emissions and after the initial 500 mile brake in period, it was to be removed and the jumper plug was to be installed in the harness to put the bike into race mode. With the lamda probe installed, the echo cut the power in half. The lamda probe doesn’t work like a traditional 02 sensor, in that it’s range of adjusting a/fr is very limited. I have never messed with ibeat personally, but watched my bike get setup about 10 years ago.
