Serenity now. Thanks.
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

Yeh I'd like to think so but knowing the last model pretty good and also the BMW I get the big feeling they have dissolved the main assets of the husqvarna and replaced it with BMW design. I have had a lot to do with the BMW vehicle headlight designs and I know the German way of things seeing i work for a German company... I guess time will tell heyrajobigguy;131325 said:I'm pretty sure there is still a fair amount of Husky DNA in there.

some judged the weight high on the 449. aint that far off, esp with the magic button! look at the CR450F, or even the X model. it aint no lightweight at all, and the CRF-X is a pig. one thing i've noted about the husky 4T motors is the difference in power and tractability vs. the other 5. i like the husky power delivery much better and there's no shortage of it anywhere. my '07 TC is a prime example. i've swapped bikes with other on the asians and they remark how much torque is has and how much less buzzing ya gotta do to get it to go. with the revs kept in the mid to upper mid the suspension works MUCH better.
i want Ty's bike for a dez specific mount. the torque, the ride and some nice moist desert pan for bush-slaloming would be freakin' epic guys.
gimme!!!
