  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

A Class
I've just converted my Te310 12 with txc 11 forks and sacks shock and 12port Eco.
Wow. What a differant bike. The 12 port injector and new ecu is a must.
The suspension is also unbelievably better. My only concern is that I traded my Kyb shock for a sacks.
I have the option to px the shocks back again! Should I?
I've put 100 hours on as was. I've only done an hour around some lanes as is and I couldn't be happier.
Got a lot of enduro racing coming up including arenaX.
Looking forward to taking my NEW (feels like) bike out to some mx also as it wasn't much fun b4 the conversion!

Ride the bike for a while and see if you like the Sachs shock and that it suits your riding style and the terrain you ride, if it does then all good.
If it were me, there is no way that KYB shock would be replaced with a Sachs!

'11 TE310. I did a spring swap on my Sachs to get static AND race sag values to match up, per Vinduros recommendations. I'm 180lbs nekkid, but I had to go up 2 weights on the spring! Replaced the oil and nitrogen charge, played with the clickers; now it's absolutely golden.

Andy Jefferson did something similar, turning his 12 TE 310 into a motocrsser he rode at Glen Helen. I think he's still working down in Corona so maybe give him a call and talk about your bike.
