  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Any body rocken the te 310 or any other te s , how many miles you got on it , 13 te 310 , 1400 awesome miles and counting , all dirt.

07 TE 450 bought used third owner with over 10000km on it....new top end last spring (third season) and running like the tank she is****************************************! She officially owes me nothing at this stage of the game...the day she decides to expire....a 2016 TE 250 or....Beta RR 250.....so, kind of a win win...

500 on my 2008 Te450, nothing but problems since I bought it last year. It was at Uptite for four months, ran well for one ride than stranded me near a pot farm outside of Ukiah. Nearby rifle fire quickly convinced me it was time to start pushing. Consequently the newly released Beta 500RS is looking better and better by the day.

4500kms on an10 te 310. Not one mechanical. Only replaced battery recently. All wheel bearings original and fine, engine only needed tappet adjustment once. Put it down to running at 150:1 2 stroke oil in the fuel.
Every tyre change swing aem and wheel bearings get a clean and re grease. Bike is carrying 250 lbs prop forward through tight ST and fire trails. Fires up first time every time.

2009 TE310, 8128miles on the odo. Second owner, so I can't account for the first 2500 miles but the rest of the mileage is dirty. Bike survived the Carlton Complex fire last year. I replaced damaged plastics and seat. Been on three rides since last summer (pitiful I know, but I'm rebuilding a house) and the thing is still a hammer!
I recently bought a 2014 FE250. So the 310 is for sale. One of the best Huskys ever made!

Very cool that it's a surviver! I remember reading abt it on ADV. Glad you are rebuilding.

Mine is a TE250 2011, with about 3500miles. By the way, the OEM hour meter stopped at 99.5. Is there a way how many hours the engine has on it? with the iBeat or something?
