  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Exhaust 0.20mm

Bit of a pain to do ! Not as easy as before to get Feeler Gauges in !

Workshop Manuals have been available since October last year. Got mine then on Disc from Husky Sport.
Maybe available online ? Sorry dont know where from .

Thanks for reply got a manual for my 2011 from husky sport then found it as a free down load a few weeks later. Not found one for 2013 yet not that £15 was the End of the world.
Do you line the cam marks up like on the 11's before checking clearances and removing cams.
I did a quick check on the 2 cams lobs you can get to easily they were ok.

Yeah, on the 13's there are 2 "dots" on the Gears, these have to be inline (Horizontal), one nearest front, one nearest rear.

You are right, 2 are easy, 2 are a bit of a pain !

So oppersite to the 11 &12's where the 2 marks on cams were Horizontal pointing to the centre of head facing each other 13's the 2 marks point outwards Horizontal.
Are you running a New 310 Any problems Yet. My 11 did not like water untill i sealed temp water temp switch and finaly fitted the white one, and seal the HT lead where it goes in tho the coil. Noticed 13's have the coil in the plug cap.
Not had mine through any rivers yet entered Welsh 2 day so Strata Florida to do:confused::)

Yep, you are correct re Valves.

I have a 2013 TXC310, its been bit of a "Friday Bike" !
Had new ECU, Starter Gears & Worm, Radiator Hose Chaffed through, all in first 10 hours !
Hopefully we got it sorted now ....

Thanks.
Suprised 2013's did not come with the upgraded starter gears is it an early one? Got some in My 11 bike maybe i should check whats in mine 13 before i sell it.

Bought in October. These "new" Gears are different again , with different "Hardening" ???

Later Bikes should be done by Dealers, before sale ?
