  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Tc250r 2013 bad throttle response

QUATTRO

Husqvarna
AA Class
Hello.

My 2013 has a bad throttle response it was always not verry well but it is getting worse.
Wen I open the gas throttle quick it's barfs first like an old dog. Also in the corner you won't to go and first bwaaaaahaaap en then the power comes.
It's runs ok but the response is ferry bad.
Does anyone have a Idee to solve this.
Bike has 50 ours and no problems so far.
Also is the power a little mellow.

Assuming the easy things are okay (air filter clean; no leaks in the manifold, throttle body, exhaust header; spark plug good, flywheel key intact, etc) I might look at the injector, the fuel pressure, or the in-tank fuel filter first.

My guess would be a clogged injector.

good luck.

oke thanks,

how do they get clogged i have never openend the fuel pipes ore anything.
ore clogged they just from the gas
Do you replace it or cleaning?

best regards,
Marco

injector: clean it (with carburetor cleaner). there is a couple threads on cafe husky; lots of videos on youtube (mostly in english but you'll get it pretty easily)

good luck.

Also I might add. On all these bikes. From unplugging tank connector etc.....
Remove your injector cause lil pieces of green and yellow plastic can gather.
During winter I go through mine and clean with carb cleaner.

Here is what can come out from cleaning. This is all from disconnecting and connecting tank.

I have had this make bike pop and also hurt acceleration from lean.
