• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Tank Graphics, Finally

Livin' It Up!

After trying to work with two different graphics makers I finally gave up and just hand cut my own, after making a cardboard template. I wanted to more or less duplicate what is on the TE630. Here is the result. There are just two or three very tiny bobbles to take care of, but those are only visible when looking very closely, and up close. Anyway, I'm pretty happy now and the tank doesn't look so bare.

The factory graphics are really lame. Mine is sans graphics now. The "Husqvarna" decals are still there though.

OK, I will present my wish for my Terra Magic Graphic. Found on AdvRider for a V/Wee Strom a few years ago. Professionally Done, Perforated and REFLECTIVE: (really looks Awesome at night on a dark paint). Tried to get a set for my KLR and that never worked. My wish is for two sets to as described 1 Primary & 1 Back Up.

200 Euros? For an aftermarket sticker kit?

Didn't really plan to single-handedly elevate Bella Italia out of its debt crisis , gulp!
As much as I like about half of it (the rest is for the bin), I think I'll better get something sourced locally.

That was the idea. :p I know that they are friggin expensive. However my supplier won't offer me a lower price..
I cut away most of my margin and now it is 189.99. Still expensive, but then you do have something exclusive.
