• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Swingarm Decals 2- the sequel

I think they should stay pretty flat and safe....unless your PO box lady likes karate chopping boards and stuff. They went Priority so hopefully everyone who has paid so far will have their decals Monday, Tuesday at the latest.
 
My P.O. box is one of the more roomy sized ones they offer down at the old Post Office, so I think the stickers will be pretty safe in there.
 
My P.O. Box mail lady is more anti motorcycle person. I have a big enough box but she is ridiculous. You should see how some of my magazines look (when and IF) I get them in time. Looks like Fido played fetch for a couple of rounds, then she decided to give them a sit on the bench to dry out so she can put them in my box when she finds the need. No one in this canyon likes her, and the Federal Government WILL NOT GET RID OF HER. She is what they call, "her purgatory" until she retires. Better to make 700 residence mad than 50,000 down in the City. Oh well.
I can't wait to get my stickers. Yippi....

I ran it all last year in forward, so I thought I'd cancel those miles out this year.
 
Ditto on receiving end. Got mine today and the mail lady probably didn't even know it was motorcycle decals. :D They look very nice, now to wash my bike and apply them. :thumbsup:
 
My bike is all cleaned up from the weekend ride and I put my new tank shroud decals on already. My Husqvarna jersey and pants came in the mail and all I need now are swingarm stickers, and I'm all set....until the next great thing comes along.:D

How come no one has put them on their bike yet? Come on people lets see them.:D

Hey, that's enough already, no more talk of this gayness! Those that have applied them. :D Post up, it will be at least another couple of days for me. :thumbsup: Not sure what to put were. Black or silver on the SM610 or verse/visa on the TE450. I'll probably do the black on the SM! :applause:

We really want to avoid any slippery slopes here. I know it all sounds like innocent fun but it can create nightmares from an administration point of view. Search spiders target certain words and phrases, next thing you know you can end up being bombarded with spam about alternate lifestyles. This creates a huge work load for us moderators in order to keep the site clean for our members so please be thoughtful when posting.
