• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

I have contacted DeCal Works about getting my swingarm decals made. The ball is rolling. I am told it may be two weeks or so before I have some in my hot little hands, but this is the idea:

Black backround, red and white gunsight. I'm ordering a small batch of them. They will be patterned for my '08 TXC250, but should fit all of the 250's, 450's, and 510's. If anyone wants, send me an e-mail for more details and to lay claim to a set.

Great idea and good on you for pushing it. I'll buy some from them for sure. I bet this is a good seller for them. :thumbsup: i suggest they do clear background with a red logo and one with a blue logo.

Dose anyone know if there's a difference on the 610 swingarm?
Will it fit the 610?

I would HATE to think that my chunky girl wont have a nice dress for the prom...:banghead:

I think it would be easiest if DeCal Works would just forgo the custom fees on this one and just stick it on their website as a stock choice. Then guys could call them and get whatever color combos they wished. I think it has more than adequate popularity from the e-mails and PM's I have gotten...

I'll run that up the flagpole with them and see what happens.

It may not be popular with the cool kids, but I like 'em a little chunky too.....:thumbsup:
 
Not the same swing arm but so close it will not matter. Hot slim chick (09 WR125) and junk in the trunk yummyness (610) will sport the same chit.
 
OK....here is the latest. I can make them with silver backrounds or black backrounds on the same order.

I need to know know who wants which color and how many before monday.

Since the decal is not exactly made for my chunky love I'm going to hold off and wait for one of the guys (or goddess...;);)) with the sixtenners to post a pic of how it'll look
Mind you if it looks good I'll probably want a black and a clear (with the black border, it's a good choice) set so I can figure it out for myself color wise, so you might want to consider biting the bullet and order a few extra decals?
