• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I'm all kinds of spazzed out over getting some new Klim gear like the squirrel in Ice Age over his acorn.

What that really means is I can't afford to get some new Klim gear AND simultanelously afford Creeper's services to lovingly care for my fanny.

But the pain in my ass on the first 50 miles with my Husky was enough to convince me I had to do something fast before I gave in to the temptation to ghost ride my Husky off the nearest cliff.

So, being the cheap bastard I am, I had the local custom moto upholstery lady make me a Sweet Cheeks to my specs (I didn't want the big ol' honkin' red-neck 2 liter soda bottle size Sweet Cheeks....I wanted the Slim-Fast-I-Burn-Gas-Fast version).

So, anyways.....'nuff readin'.

Don't worry, Creeper.....in a coupla months I'll let you soothe my bum :D.

Are the red/orange containers plastic?
Would it be as comfortable if they were aluminum MSR 32 oz fuel bottles?
What material are you using?
Would you email the pattern to me, please.

I'm thinking along similar lines, but would not use velcro. I'm thinking of using a strap(s) that wraps under the seat.

Those are MSR 1l fuel bottles. I had my Sweet Cheeks made specifically to carry them for emergency fuel.

Cordura nylon is the material.

No pattern....just took a picture into the lady and she whipped it up.

Love it... I was think'n along the same lines, but again with the 2 lts bottles.

Very nice  Just 1/2 gal ain't much when your 100 miles in the bush:D

Yep, I'm workin' on an aux tank idea. It could be as simple as a tail rack + an Acerbis 1.3g tank or something sexier.
