• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Alright! I've had it with all you people that have wet mucky places to ride at this time of year. That does it. Now I'm going to have to pack up my trail bike (and a snorkel) and come up to one of these places and ride until I'm too waterlogged to go on.

Look like some pretty deep puddles over in AB.too.:D

What's that creaking in your camera audio? I have to turn the volume way up to hear your engine and then WHAM you hit a branch and almost blow my speakers.:lol:

We just finished our ride here and the place was soaked with a Thunder shower. Glad we got off the mountain.

good stuff..........the mic "squeeky" noises made it sound like a 3 masted man-o-war rather than a fine bike at some points. LOL

Good to see someone else has a U-boat base to ride in besides me.

That creaking noise is my neckbrace rubbing on the underside of my helmet....I must confess that I dont even know I'm wearing the thing..but the noise on the cam is unreal....:lol:

Yep it sure gets wet there and its only 50kms from my door:D....yet I travel 150k to the south and its desert..we definately have all kinds of riding here...

love it:thumbsup:

Nice Vid! It's either that or the little drainage slot in your stator cover has not been filled, on my two bikes I just used a little steel epoxy to fill the gap, but make sure to pull the cover after a ride wet or dry(condensation).

Cool video
It's funny, when I hit pause, the video stopped, but the sound kept going, there ya were frozen, not moving, but the bike kept revving & the squeaking continued.
