Hi,
Long story short, after I put to much oil in my TR (1/2 liter, did not read the instructions properly, my bad), the bike went into Limp Mode. Before that, in two years I had experienced many surges.
I bought a OBD1 to OBD2 cable, a Unicarscan Device and a full licence of Motoscan that showed me an error with the TPS (throttle position sensor). Measurements with the ohmmeter were not totally conclusive, but a new TPS (found in UK) solved instantly the problem. The bike seems to run ok now (though I just did a short test ride].
I still don't know if the oil overspill (immediately taken care of) has something to do with it, but I found a small quantity of oil splattered in the airbox... I guess the TPS was already worn (because of the surges).
Edit : I did a lot of researches, but I could not find any equivalent of this TPS that would be cheaper (paid 80 £+ VAT+shipping). But TPS of same size and shape are found on many BMW cars and bikes under different reference numbers.
