• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

We're going today so I'll take photos! I tried to find the schedule for the races and all I got was the schedule for the Smage brothers trials exhibition

I wanna see wet parking lot racing!!! :applause:

Big fun on the little bike... Just got home will do a report after I get everything put away.
My results : I did not crash, get hurt or break the bike that I think I SOLD. Should be on
time to work tomorrow. " WIN"

Sounds like a successful day to me

I showed up about 1:30 or so; saw the 250 by the gate and asked where the owner was but the guys pitting there had no clue. They said they'd push the bike out the gate for me if I wanted it, though :p I figured it had to be yours, yeah?

I took a few photos, but it was really hard to get a good vantage point from behind the fence. I had a front-row seat to the high-siding Aprilia, though I didn't get any photos of that, either. I got all excited when the announcer said someone would be riding a blue and yellow Husky, but it was a Husaberg. He referred to it as a Husky the entire race:mad: Everyone seated near me in the grandstands knew it was a `Berg by the end of the race :D

Yes that was my 250, I put it there just so it could be seen by show folks. I guess it worked !!!
Leo Vince had a booth there last year so I figured It was parked in the right spot. That was Branden
Case and Bobby Fong's PRO PIT and they welcomed the 250 to be parked there.

Burts superman crash resulted in a broken wrist. I think he should have backed off a little, he had
a good lead. I brought the big Nikon and did not take a single pic? I missed a lot of races this year
so it was fun just hanging in the pits with my friends instead of taking pics. There was plenty of other
photogs, not sure if you got to see any of the pro racing ??? Amazing ridding skills these kids have.

Pics from last year. Bummer no dog house jump this year (busted too many chains) Ha Ha. We only had one (Motion-Pro) launch ramp that is always fun.

Ryan Kearns (Stockton) wins big time this year...DSC_0114.JPGDSC_0115.JPGDSC_0116.JPG

Pic from last year, My main yesterday was just like it, raining big time. I backed off on turn 1 and 2 and
passed a lot of crashed riders only to get passed latter. Learned do not close vents in helmet to aviod
water intrusion, face shield will fog big time....DSC_0005.JPG

Tech said if I tape the lights and remove the plate on the 250 it would be good to go.This is why I brought the 250 to this event. Passing Tech ??? Next Year the 250 plans to be ripping, a few track-days at Infinion to get the gearing and suspension dialed in should do it.
