• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Supercross Live on SPD Channel

Not bad race. Would have been nice to see Jeff Alessi beat Mike in the heat race. He should have parked him when he had the chance...lol

It was a great opener!

Took forever to get out of the parking lot.

They anounced last night that it woulld be replayed on Speed HD at 12:30 PST

The thing I remember the most was the Lites Rider (2nd heat race) that crashed on the first table of the Rhythm section standing up slowly, distantly and then kind of taking a few moments to get his wits back about him and he never really did... just kind of slowly walked to his bike clearing the cobwebs..... some epic crashes in that 2nd lites heat race...

That section had to have been the toughest for everyone... even Reed was really working it hard to make that section work...

no spoilers for anyone that hasn't seen it yet...

Its a slow but changing of the guard here ... Next week will be even better ... The gloves will come off everyone ...

I like what one announcer/analyst said about strategy..."simple, just go faster than James Stewart". He's still got it...if there was any doubt.

I was sitting midway of the rhythm section and i forgot how many riders in practice blew thru the burm at the end.

Ya Husky T that guy got his bell rung for sure.

It`s going to be an exciting year.

wow ... Nice racing and I'd like to have a $ every time that announcer said 'stewart' ... Was he aware that rc whipped him in MX and SX on a regular basis?

loooooved when RC showed up for a cameo race. stewart rode over his head trying to stay on pace. RC could cruise it and make stewart stack. pretty hillairious.

stewart is wicked fast on an SX track. but, he lacks focus, knowing when to back off and lets his ego set the pace. he's plenty fast enough, just needs to wise up.

how bout The Man working fer KTM now???!!!

and them nike boots that look like sneakers? what's next? sideways ball caps with ironed-flat brims and baggy pants?
oh- right. nevermind.
