    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Super Secret Spy Photos (Nice Rack)

I had an opportunity to catch a super secret product testing session in the deep forest of Washington. The following photos captured what looks to be the production version of the Motosportz TE,TC,TXC,SMR,WR,CR cargo rack.
Not only is thing a work of art and beauty but is also an incredibly well designed accessory. On each side of the rack are hand holds that you can actually use to lift and move the bike around with,(unlike the stock ones on my TXC) also there's a hand hold in the back. Various cut outs and the incorporation of the Husky gun sight facilitate ease of the use of load securing devises (Bungees). The rack sits far enough back that it does not interfere with seating position of the rider or pose a hazard.
Until capturing these photos I had not considered a rack, but now it is on my must have functional accessory list.

Now that you mention the junk in the trunk I can't help butt notice!:D

Nice work Kelly..would look cool even hanging on a shop wall..or as a clock or as an end table..truly brilliant!!
 
You don't wanna have too much of a weight swing otherwise it'll be back to Les' shop to rework the suspension.
 
Actually Les's amazing work provides a huge range of adjustment so I'll just keep eating. Thanks Les.
 
I wanna see one witha 12 pack on it for perspective. That will be it's primary function on my bike.:D Can we get a pricing and weight limit specs for it?
 
We at least know by now that the rack is pretty and the rider is not a fatty (but lay off the McDonalds and other crap to keep the bod in check)!!!:D

Lets worry a little less about form and a bit more about function (I am talking about the rack, not the dood in front of it).
